Why does our shul attract people? Because they like who we are, what we do and what we stand for…

…and because they have become part of the Jewish homeland, and have found a compatible community in McDonald International Shul

About membership

McDonald International Shul of Netanya has members from more than 20 countries and the community is happy to open its doors and welcome everyone.

While the majority of its members originate from English speaking countries, the number of the French speakers is also growing and for this reason, more and more of the information tools are now translated into French.

McDonald International Shul at 7 McDonald Street, near the Kikar, is one of the largest synagogues in Netanya.

The large and airy synagogue (425 seats) has a warm and welcoming environment, with many new members quickly making new friendships, based on shared interests, Shabbat meal invitations, and so on.

In addition to regular services, there are many varied educational, cultural and social events throughout the year. More information on these events can be readily found elsewhere on this website.

Members also receive a regular weekly newsletter plus a Shul Magazine published for Pesach and Rosh Hashanah.

As a member, you will be entitled to a reserved seat for the High Holidays for yourself and your family.

Ashkenazim, Sepharadim and Bnei Romi from Italy pray  together at McDonald International Shul in Netanya.

Women like our shul because they feel involved in the service from their seats in the two ladies’ sections.
